The history of the Valentine card comes from the IIIrd century and is located in the old Roman Empire. It tells the legend of Saint Valentine who, while he was locked up for secretly marrying couples through the christian rite, gave classes to the jailer´s daughter with whom he fell desperately in love. On the day of his execution, the priest sent his loved one a farewell letter proclaiming his eternal love and which he signed "your Valentine".
