| Where have the spots of this Dalmatian gone? Surprisingly, its coat is completely white and
the black spots and we don´t see the usual black spots on it. Now we see the black spots upon the white background surrounding it. Puppies are born with white fur, though the beginning of
spots can sometimes be seen under the skin of a newborn pup. Any areas of color at birth are a
"patch", and patches are a disqualifying fault in the breed standard. |
